The Road Ahead is Full of Promise

In 2015, work on the Western Access O’Hare project includes completion of roadway improvements on the western end of the new Illinois Route 390, formerly known as the Elgin O’Hare Expressway, between Lake Street (U.S. Route 20) and Rohlwing Road.

In addition, construction will continue on the new I-290 Interchange on Illinois Route 390 and at Elmhurst Road on I-90. Construction on Illinois Route 390 also includes completion of the new Rohlwing Road Bridge and work to begin construction of the eastern segment of Illinois Route 390 from Rohlwing Road to Illinois Route 83.
