The Village of Villa Park is a centrally located western suburb of Chicago, loosely bordered by Rt. 83 to the east and Addison Rd to the west, Roosevelt Road to the South, and North Avenue to the North, with close access to I -290. Villa Park was originally incorporated in 1914 and is located only 18 miles west of downtown Chicago. It is flanked by Oak Brook, Elmhurst, Lombard and Addison. This “Garden Village” offers a central location with easy driving access to downtown Chicago, O’Hare, Oak Brook shopping and the rest of the Chicago metropolitan area. Villa Park was formerly the home of the Ovaltine chocolate factory, which has since been converted to loft and apartment units by Lincoln Properties. Villa Park also offers easy commuter access to downtown Chicago via the Union Pacific West Line Metra train station which travels to Chicago‘s Ogilvie Center. Villa Park offers several TIF (Tax Increment Finance) areas to encourage investment and business opportunities.

Villa Park makes a great home for businesses and families. The town of almost 22,000 combines a small town family atmosphere with great amenities and central access to the Chicago metropolitan area. Villa Park offers excellent schools and 19 parks, including the nationally ranked Sugar Creek Golf Course, a 9 hole, par 32 public golf course. Villa Park offers access to a beautiful portion of the Illinois Prairie Path which connects the Great Western Trail at Villa Avenue and continues for 12 miles west for those interested in walking, running, bicycling and cross country skiing, etc.

Villa Park hosts a Summerfest and Oktoberfest each year, as well as a French Market in the summer months and numerous other local events. Villa Park is also home to the Odeum Sports and Expo Center, which is DuPage County’s largest sports and exposition facility. The Odeum is a 130,000 square foot facility with 85,000 square feet of clear span exhibition space, which houses a 5,300 seat general assembly area and has the capacity for trade shows, sporting events, concerts, indoor sports, banquet rooms etc. Villa Park offers many shopping, restaurant and business opportunities along it main business corridors located on Roosevelt Road, St. Charles Road, North Ave, Route 83, as well as various other corridors in its downtown area along Ardmore Avenue, the Metra train station and Villa Ave.
